Origin: Native to Mediterranean area

Also called Wild Marjoram, Carvacrol, Dostenkraut, European Oregano, Huile d’Origan, Marjolaine Bâtarde, Marjolaine Sauvage, and Marjolaine Vivace, studies show Oregano vulgare is purported to have antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral effects.
Scientists have found that oregano oil may help fight the growth of candida and aid in helping oral thrush, skin infections, and vaginal yeast infections.
